Based on recent policy changes, there is a probability that tariffs will be charged.  Crazy Arms deliver the goods Delivery Duty
Unpaid (DDU) to all countries outside of Australia and New Zealand and the UK,
which means the end customer is responsible for paying any duties or taxes upon delivery.

This latest US ruling comes into effect as of August 29, 2025, whereby the U.S. has suspended the"de minimis" duty exemption for all countries. Previously, shipments
valued at USD800 or less could enter the U.S. duty-free.

• Tariff Application: All goods, including
  apparel, shipped from Australia to the USA are now subject to applicable duties
  and taxes, regardless of their value.
• Baseline Tariff: A 10% baseline tariff is
  currently applied to most Australian goods entering the U.S.
• Country of Origin: The tariffs are based on
  the country of origin of the product. 
  Crazy Arms are manufactured in both Australia and China with the same fabric,
  specifications and quality standards.  In
  any one delivery you may receive both made-in-Australia and Made-in-China
  product, depending on the styles and colours you choose.  Made in China products may be subject to a
  30% tariff.

 The Process for Paying Tariffs?

The process for paying tariffs typically rest with the importer, which in this case is our customers in the USA.

• Payment Collection: Tariffs and any
  associated fees are collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) when the package goes through customs clearance.
• Shipping Carrier's Role: The shipping
  carrier (e.g., Australia Post/USPS, FedEx, DHL) often handles the collection of
  these fees on behalf of CBP. They will usually contact the customer to notify
  them of the fees and collect payment before delivering the package.

In summary, for the time being, shipments of apparel under USD80 from Australia to the U.S. will now incur tariffs, and unfortunately the responsibility for paying these fees rests with the customer upon delivery.

We will be keeping a very close watch on how this develops, but we do
anticipate potential delays and costs with deliveries in the short term, as the
system is implemented.

Please allow 2 business days for your order to be dispatched and then a further 5-10 business days for delivery of your sleeves within Australia. Inter-state delivery times are being impacted by border closures from time to time.

Crazy Arms® packaging is lightweight, simple, fun, educational, easy to mail, and made from 100% re-cycled materials. A protective outer envelope is used to protect the product.

We take great care when packaging your Crazy Arms®. Unfortunately, on odd occasions items can become damaged through delivery. Please email us at hello@crazyarms.com within 2 days of receiving your item outlining the issue, along with photographs that show how the product is damaged. If you then return the sleeves we will post you a new pair or issue a full refund.

Crazy Arms® are made from a smooth, cool, ultra-lightweight UPF 50+ fabric. Our fabric is made from Econyl®, a regenerated nylon coming from ghost fishing nets and other nylon waste.

Crazy Arms® were born, raised in Sydney, Australia. The unique Econyl® based fabric, a regenerated nylon coming from ghost fishing nets and other nylon waste, is imported from Italy. 89% of the range is currently manufactured in Sydney, with 11% sourced from overseas due to the complexity of some of the patterns. The country of origin is clearly marked on the back of each individual pack, and on the individual product pages.

The light-weight, breathable fabric means Crazy Arms® are comfortable to wear.  On hot days, or if you are running, simply dampening with cold water will have a pleasant cooling effect without impacting the UV protection.

Crazy Arms® come in over 12 different designs and colours, in six sizes:

XS 3-5 year olds typical height 100cm - 115cm, S 5-8 year olds typical height 115cm - 135cm, M 8-12 year olds typical height 135cm - 150cm, L 12-14 year olds typical height 150cm - 160cm, A - an adult 'one size fits most' size, and Adult Relaxed, which has a wider bicep.  If you are not happy with the size, we will organise an exchange or full refund (excluding postage).

Crazy Arms® may feel a little tight the first time you wear them. This is to ensure they fit like a second skin. The tightness will ease slightly with wearing as they stretch to match your particular arm size, and we do offer a "relaxed" fit in certain colours for those with wider upper arms.

Crazy Arms® breathable fabrics mean they will not need frequent washing. Use cool gentle machine cycles with mild detergent. Do not use softeners or bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Simply dry in the great outdoors.
