Kids arm sleeves cover the part of the arm a school polo or sports shirt leaves bare, from the shirt sleeve to the wrist. They're made from ARPANSA tested UPF 50+ fabric, which blocks at least 98% of UV, and they go on once in the morning, so there's nothing to reapply on the arms at lunch. Sizes go by height, from X-Small for kids under 115cm to Kids Large at 150 to 160cm. There are plain school colours and prints they'll want to wear, and kids pairs start at $34.50. Sleeves for kids at school and sport
At school. The sleeves sit flat under a short sleeve school polo and finish at the wrist, so a summer uniform covers more without a long sleeve shirt. The plain colours are there to match school and sport uniforms: white, navy, maroon, dark green, grey, black, sky blue and more. The white sleeves also come in two and three pair bundles, so there's a clean pair on a school morning.
At sport. Soccer, cricket, tennis or a Saturday morning at little athletics: in the right size the band at the top keeps the sleeves up through the running around, and they come off in seconds afterwards. For junior cricket in whites, there are junior cricket sleeves in white and stone.
Prints they'll actually wear. Our range runs to over 30 colours and designs, and more than 20 of them come in kids sizes. Unicorns, mermaids, aliens, rainbows and camo are the favourites. Not every kid takes to the snug fit straight away, so letting them choose the print helps.
Getting the size right. Go by height, not age. Measure your child standing against a wall and check the size guide. They should feel a little tight the first time on and ease to a snug fit after a wear or two, so try them on indoors first. Free exchange of size or colour within 40 days. Cancer Council's advice is to cover up whenever the UV Index is 3 or above, and to put SPF50 or 50+ sunscreen on any skin clothing can't cover. Yes, on the skin the sleeves don't cover: face, neck, ears and hands. The sleeves take care of the arms, so there's less to put on and less to miss. A broad brim hat and shade do the rest.

Crazy Arms are designed to fit like a second skin for athletic activity. This should feel a little tight on first wearing, but will ease to a snug fit after one or two wears.

The fabric we use is tested for its sun protection capabilities, and Crazy Arms also has the fabric tested separately with ARPANSA (the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency), in both block colours and patterns.
What is a UPF rating?
A UPF rating shows how effective fabrics are at blocking out the sun’s rays and reducing a person’s UVR exposure. A UPF rating of 15 is considered to provide 'Minimum Protection', a rating of 30 provides 'Good Protection', and ratings of 50 and 50+ provide 'Excellent Protection'.
The fabric used across Crazy Arms products has exceeded the UPF 50+ benchmark for “excellent protection”, blocking out at least 98% of UVA and UVB rays.

Fabric
Our fabric is made from ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon coming from ghost fishing nets and other nylon waste.
Our fabric partner, ECONYL® has developed an innovative and sustainable regeneration system. The yarn is made from regenerated Nylon 6 waste that is collected all over the world and sent to the ECONYL® waste treatment centre. The cleaned nylon waste is shredded, compacted, bagged and transported to The ECONYL® Depolymerization Plant, where it goes through a radically new purification process. It then goes through the ECONYL® Polymerization Plant, where polymerization transforms the regenerated raw material into Nylon 6 polymers. The Nylon 6 Polymers are then transformed into textile yarn. Aquafil, the maker, says ECONYL® regenerated nylon can be regenerated again and again without losing quality.
This fabric costs a little more to produce, but when we tested it for its UV protection, comfort, coolness, and stretch, we were convinced it was perfect for Crazy Arms.

Crazy Arms™ packaging is lightweight, simple, fun, educational, easy to mail, and made from 100% recycled materials. We send your order in a corn starch mailer. We believe this is a much better alternative to the single-use plastic packaging used by other companies.

What if my sleeves are damaged on arrival?
Crazy Arms are packed in sturdy recycled packs. No plastic pouches for us! If there is a problem with the arm sleeves when they arrive, please email us at hello@crazyarms.com within 40 days of receiving your item outlining the issue, along with photographs that show how the product is damaged. If you then return the item unworn in the original outer packaging, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund.
Returns & Exchange Policy
At Crazy Arms, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If you need to swap a size or return an item, we’ve made the process as simple as possible.
1. Time Limit & Eligibility
- 40-Day Window: You have 40 days from the date of receipt to request an exchange or return.
- Gift Flexibility: If you purchased an item as a gift that was not tried on immediately (e.g., Christmas gifts), we offer flexibility beyond the 40-day limit. Please contact us to discuss.
- Condition of Items: To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it, including the original outer packaging. Due to health and safety regulations, worn clothing items cannot be returned or exchanged.
2. Our Hassle-Free Exchange Process
If you need a different size or colour, we offer a 100% free exchange service. Crazy Arms covers all additional shipping costs.

- Replacement & Pre-Paid Label: We will dispatch your new size/colour along with a pre-paid return mailer/sticker.
